PIRO Projects International Indonesian Observer Project Palau Sea Turtle Project

Indonesian observer program, research and training for the mitigation of sea turtle interactions with local commercial fishing fleets project will demonstrate the commitment to the Indonesian marine resources. One goal of this project is to reduce sea turtle by-catch.

Palau Sea Turtle Recovery Project is successfully enhancing the knowledge and protection of sea turtles on nesting beaches and foraging areas around Palau. Training, conservation officers and community involvement are key factors in the accomplishments.
